I think you missed one reason. Filming or photographing a concert lets you share that your attendance on social media, without being so crass as to directly state that you're at the concert.
Conspicuous consumption is definitely another reason. I think that someone capturing a concert just for posting on social media would be more likely to just snag a quick photo vs trying to film the whole concert though.
