Tell me more about the caffeine abstention. It’s my favorite part of the day and the few times I’ve given it up I just feel a bit more blah.

I think it takes a couple weeks to lose the physical dependence to caffeine if you're generally a daily user. After that, I feel like I have a higher baseline level of energy and that my energy levels are more stable over the course of the day. I also sleep better. As I wrote above, though, it leaves a bit of a spiritual hole. I'm trying to find a happy medium of moderation.

For the spiritual hole as a former daily coffee drinker - I really have appreciated decaf. I feel it allows me to still participate in the ritual of it all without the jitteriness I get when I drink caffeine now :)

Chapman! This is so common sense but great to point out. I love to drink like 5 cups of coffee but when its fully caffeinated it makes me feel terrible even when I have a full tolerance going. Kinda feels like cheating, like doing the inhaler, but I like this call anyway!
