Just checked out the full article in Blue Ridge Outdoor, excellent read πŸ™Œ It’s funny how many people I know/have met that cut their teeth in the outdoor spaces of the southeast before moving west! Outdoor recreation there is something special.

Chad, there's definitely a huge contingent of eastern expats out here. My roommate, a native Coloradan, would say it's hard to find the natives (Colorado has the fifth-lowest share of residents that were born in-state https://kdvr.com/news/data/colorado-native-foreign-population-migration/#:~:text=Percentage%20of%20state%20residents%20born%20in%20state&text=Colorado%20has%20the%20fifth%2Dlowest,were%20actually%20born%20in%20Colorado.)...

It's always fun to talk with folks and bond over the places we have shared experiences. I'm thinking of Seneca Rocks WV, the New River Gorge and Red River Gorge (Miguel's Pizza!), the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain and Stone Mountain NC, all the ski resorts (Wintergreen, Sugar and Beech Mountain, Snowshoe) and so many more wonderful places.

I heard the same thing when I lived in CO. Fun fact about me-I taught skiing and snowboarding at Sugar Mountain for six years! And I have a hat from Miguel’s πŸ˜‚
